2016 European Heritage Days in Georgia will take place on the 16th, 17th and 18th of September. During this period the European Heritage Days will be marked by opening doors of numerous museums across the country for a free heritage enjoyment and exploration. Several Museums will hold special exhibitions and events dedicated to the promotion of cultural heritage of Georgia and its diversity as a part of European family.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture and Monuments Protection of Georgia 2016 European Heritage Days in Georgia will focus on storytelling and sharing knowledge through different activities to promote the role of cultural exchange between different nations.
With this in mind several museums will exhibit materials demonstrating cultural relationships of Georgian public figures with other European nations. These events will enable visitors to gain information on how cultural relationships create a common heritage and consequently form communities that unite different individuals with shared interests.
